Contractors Connect is a quarterly networking event hosted by Beespoke Consulting for contractors, subcontractors and other home specialists along the Emerald Coast to bring together professionals in the construction industry and give them the opportunity to make meaningful business connections in a casual, fun environment.
Relaunching in May 2024
Contractors Connect was started by Erin Bakker from The Hive Creative Consulting in 2017. The networking event quickly grew to include six meetups and lunch & learns in rotating locations in Bay, Walton and Okaloosa Counties. The well-attended events filled a void for professionals in the construction industry by creating a laid-back environment to make new connections.
Additionally, the event offered multiple sponsorship opportunities, giving local businesses a chance to promote and expose their services to contractors while also supporting a local charity. Erin Bakker and her partner, Sarah White, are excited to bring Contractors Connect back with their new company, Beespoke Consulting. After a four-year hiatus caused by the pandemic, the first event will take place in May 2024 in Walton County.
Three additional events are planned for August, November and February 2025. “Contractors Connect had a great following, and I’ve had countless requests to bring it back over the last few years,” Bakker said. “Sarah and I have lots of ideas for making it bigger and better than ever!”
