What is Contractors Connect?

Contractors Connect is a networking group organized by Beespoke Consulting for contractors, subcontractors and other building specialists along the Emerald Coast. The group hosts networking events that bring together professionals in the commercial and residential construction industries, giving them the opportunity to make meaningful business connections in a casual, fun environment.

Contractors Connect was started by Erin Bakker from The Hive Creative Consulting in 2017. The networking event quickly grew to include meetups and lunch & learns in rotating locations in Bay, Walton and Okaloosa Counties. After a four-year hiatus caused by the pandemic, Erin and her partner, Sarah White, brought Contractors Connect back with their new company, Beespoke Consulting, in May 2024. Due to overwhelming response, the group now hosts quarterly meetups in Bay, Walton and Escambia Counties, in addition to pop-ups and signature events with industry partners. In 2025, ContractHER Connect was launched as an offshoot of Contractors Connect, offering a dynamic networking and empowerment platform designed exclusively for women in the construction industry.

Can anyone attend Contractors Connect?

Absolutely! The construction industry is vast and includes more than just licensed contractors. We welcome financial professionals, realtors, property managers, facility managers, architects, designers, marketers, real estate photographers, building supply companies, tradesmen, subcontractors, and more. If you’re looking to network with industry professionals, Contractors Connect is the place to be.

Can I bring my spouse to Contractors Connect?

Of course! Many guests bring their spouses along, and we’re more than happy to have them. Our events are designed to be welcoming and inclusive.

Do I have to be a member to attend Contractors Connect events?
