SANTA ROSA BEACH, Fla. – Contractors Connect, a networking event for contractors along
the Emerald Coast is returning to South Walton after a long hiatus. Contractors, subcontractors
and other specialists in the building industry are invited to attend the first event of 2024 on
Thursday, May 9 from 5 to 7 p.m. at AJ’s Grayton Beach. The quarterly networking event is
presented by Builders FirstSource of the Emerald Coast. The cost to attend is $20 and includes
one free draft beer, light appetizers, and the opportunity to win multiple door prizes.

networking opportunity to our community of contractors, igniting connections and collaborations
that propel us all forward,” John Pugh, Emerald Coast sales manager, said.
Contractors Connect was started by The Hive Creative Consulting in 2017. The networking
event quickly grew to include six meetups and lunch & learns in rotating locations in Bay, Walton and Okaloosa Counties. Erin Bakker and her partner, Sarah White, are excited to bring Contractors Connect back through their new company, Beespoke Consulting.
Pulling in more than 100 contractors, designers, realtors, bankers and insurance agents at previous events, Contractors Connect expects to bring in a large crowd at the May meetup. Three additional events are planned for Aug. 8, Nov. 14 and Feb. 6, 2025. “Contractors Connect had a great following, and I’ve had countless requests to bring it back over the last few years,” Bakker said. “Having a partner like Builders FirstSource is a great asset as we re-launch this event!”
